OPERATION
General
Note that it is more difficult to see the laser beam in strong ambient light. Wear the supplied glasses to
see the laser beam better. Darken the room if possible before measuring.
Note: In unfavourable light conditions it can be impossible to see the laser point from where the rotation
laser is positioned. If so, use the laser glasses and see if the laser point can be seen directly on the wall.
It does not matter if the laser beam cannot be seen. The important thing is that the measurement point
can be seen. If the point cannot be seen on the wall you can reduce the rotation speed so that the beam
is easier to see.
Function
Start the rotation laser by pressing the button (c) for about two seconds. The green levelling lamp lights
up to show that the system is ready for use. Press the button (c) again to switch off the system.
The rotation laser can be mounted on a tripod (not supplied).
Measuring
The rotation laser combines a laser beam with a motorised mechanism. This makes it easy to carry out
levelling in the horizontal and vertical plane. The rotation laser has several different applications, both at
building sites and for interior work.
Measuring radius up to 15 metres.
Measuring must only be carried out at temperatures from 0°C to 40°C.
Horizontal rotation
Place the laser on the base plate (h). Start the laser as instructed above. Two stationary spots of light are
shown at right angles to each other. Adjust the rotation laser with the levelling screws (f) so that the
bubbles in both of the upper vials are in the middle of the markings. Note that the spirit bubbles respond
to movement of the levelling screw along the lengthwise axis of the vials. Adjust the spirit bubbles for best
measuring results.
Activate the rotation mode by pressing the rotation button (d). The system operates with fast rotation.
Press the rotation button (d) once again if you want to switch to medium rotation speed. Press the rotation
button (d) once again if you want to switch to low rotation speed. Press the rotation button (d) once again
if you want to switch off the rotation. Two stationary spots of light at right angles to each other are shown
again.
Vertical rotation
Place the laser on the base plate (h) side attachment. Start the laser as instructed above. Two stationary
spots of light are shown at right angles to each other. Adjust the rotation laser with the levelling screws (f)
so that the bubbles in the vials over the control panel are in the middle of the markings. Note that the
spirit bubbles respond to movement of the levelling screw along the lengthwise axis of the vials. Carefully
adjust the spirit bubbles for best measuring results.
Activate the rotation mode by pressing the rotation button (d). The system operates with fast rotation.
