SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
WARNING!
Failure to follow all the instructions below can result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
personal injury.
The product belongs to laser class 2 with a maximum output power of 5 mW and wavelength of 650 nm.
These lasers are not normally associated with any risk of damaging the eyes. Do not look into the beam,
however, as it can cause dazzling.
IMPORTANT!
The sticker below on the line laser indicates the point on the line laser where the laser
beam comes out. Pay attention to this point when using the line laser. Make sure that onlookers are
aware of the danger of looking into the laser beam.

DO NOT LOOK INTO THE LASER BEAM.

Do not switch on the laser beam until the tool has been placed on the work surface.
•
Do not remove or damage the sticker on the product. This can result in harmful exposure to laser
radiation.
•
Do not look into the laser beam. Do not point the laser beam at anyone's eyes. This can cause
serious eye damage.
•
Do not place the tool where someone can look into the laser beam, deliberately or unintentionally.
This can cause serious eye damage.
•
Do not use optical instruments to look at the laser beam. This can cause serious eye damage.
•
Do not switch on the laser beam when children are present, and do not allow children to use the
laser. This can cause serious eye damage.
•
Switch off the tool when it is not in use. Otherwise there is a risk that someone may look into the
laser beam by mistake.
•
Do not use the tool in explosive environments, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids, gases or
dust.
•
Do not point the laser beam at reflecting surfaces that can reflect the beam towards the user.
Reflected laser light can also cause serious eye damage.
•
Do not make any modifications to the tool. This can result in harmful exposure to laser radiation.
•
The tool must only be used in accordance with these Operating Instructions. If the tool is used in
any other way there is a risk of serious personal injury.
•
The tool is powered by two AAA batteries. The use of other batteries may pose a fire risk or cause
personal injury.
•
Insert the batteries with the correct polarity in accordance with the markings inside the battery
compartment.
•
Protect the battery from short circuiting.
•
Do not mix old and new batteries. All the batteries must be of the same brand and type.
•
Remove discharged batteries from the tool as soon as possible. Dispose of the batteries in
accordance with local regulations.
•
Batteries must not be burned.
•
Store batteries out of the reach of children.
•
Remove the batteries from the tool when it is not going to be used for some time.
•
Do not attempt to repair or dismantle the tool – risk of serious personal injury. The tool must only
be repaired by an authorised service centre.
