Wear hearing protection!
The declared vibration value, which has been measured by a standardised test method, can be used to
compare different tools with each other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING!
The actual vibration level when using power tools may differ from the specified maximum value,
depending on how the tool is used. It is therefore necessary to determine which safety precautions are
required to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating conditions (taking into
account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in
addition to the start-up time).
DESCRIPTION
This electric planer is intended for hobby work and not for professional use.
The planer must only be used on large workpieces that can easily be secured. It is not intended for use
as a stationary tool.
USE
WARNING!
Do not let any part of the body come into contact with the rotating blade. Danger of fatal or
serious personal injury.
BEFORE USE
Check that the voltage on the planer rating plate corresponds with the mains voltage.
Check that the workpiece is securely clamped so that it cannot move during the planing.
STARTING AND STOPPING
To start the machine: press both start buttons on the handle. Release the buttons to stop the machine.
ADJUSTING THE PLANING DEPTH
Adjust the planing depth using the knob at the front. This has a graduated scale that can be set from 0 to
2 mm. Never change this setting when planing.
PLANING
Start by connecting an extractor device to the planer. This can be a dust extractor or other similar piece of
equipment. See JULA's catalogue.
WARNING!
Wear ear protection and a breathing mask when planing.
24.
Start the machine.
25.
Run the machine at full speed and place the front part on the workpiece.
26.
Move the planer slowly forwards, pressing slightly on the tail piece so that it goes smoothly over the
workpiece.
