before replacing the presser

foot.

3 cords : Practical 05

When you use three cords, put the cords through all of the

holes under the spring. Fit the cord tips in the slits on the un

dersurface of the presser foot. Then, lower the presser foot.

At the start and end of sewing, press the reverse stitch but

ton to carry out back-tacking.

Draw the cords out to the wrong side of the material, make

knots and cut the remaining cords.

* In the case of using two cords, set one of them in the right

most hole and the other one in the leftmost hole under the

spring on the presser foot.

In the case of using one cord, pass it through the center hole

under the spring and fit it in the slit on the underside of the

presser foot. Then, lower the presser foot.

Set the zigzag width to "2". Then, sew the cord with zigzag

stitches.

At the start and end of sewing, press the reverse stitch but

ton to carry out back-tacking.

Draw the cords out to the wrong side of the material, make

knots and cut the remaining cords.
