4.7 Waste water connection and safety overflow hose
The hoses for the regeneration waste water
and the safety overflow must both be routed
without any kinks and with a steady down-
ward slope to the water trap (in the scope of
supply). The water trap ensures a free dis-
charge in accordance with DIN EN 1717
(see fig. 10). The waste water hose with 11 mm outside
diameter must not be routed any higher than
the control head. The hose length must not
exceed 3 m.
The safety overflow hose with 19 mm out-
side diameter must be routed with a steady
downward slope to the water trap.
If a steady downward slope to the water trap
cannot be achieved at the location of instal-
lation, then a saltwater-resistant pumping
system must be installed to convey the re-
generation waste water.
