3.1 Accident categories
We detail the cases around which you must be particularly vigilant in order to avoid any accident.
Jump
: the most delicate one is the landing phase on the head or neck, even on the middle of the
mat. This type of landing can cause severe back and neck injuries with the risk of paralysis or death.
This can happen if the user makes a mistake and falls forwards or backwards.
Multiple users on trampolines
: the risk of injury increases if a second person uses the trampoline
at the same time. Indeed, one of the users could lose control and push or injure the first one.
Generally, the risk is greater for the smallest or lightest person. They are more likely to jump high
and uncontrolably.
Up and down
: Users must take every precaution to get on and off the trampoline. To do this, they
must simply grab the frame with their hands and stand on the mat, avoiding as much damage as
possible to the protective foams. Going up and down the trampoline must be then carried out by the
ladder provided for this purpose.
Do not climb by grasping the protective foams or climbing on the springs or jumping directly onto the
floor mat with any object. Young children must be assisted to get in and out.
Hitting the frame or springs
: When using the trampoline, jump on the centre of the mat. This
reduces the risk of shocks to the frame or springs. Therefore, it is always necessary to ensure that
the protective foams are present and in good condition. Try to avoid walking or jumping on these
foams to prevent from deforming them.
