Gas type selection
This hob will work with natural gas or LPG. The hob is fitted with jets for natural
gas. LPG jets are provided with the fixing kit. If LPG use is required, the jets
must be changed by an approved gas engineer and then the hob needs to
be reset.
The re-set can only be done if the hob is on and all burners are off. To re-set, press keys
[B],
[-C]
and
[P-]
simultaneously for at least two seconds.
At this point, all gas level displays will be turned off and the timer display shows “
Met
”
(natural gas)
or “
Gpl
” (LPG). The gas type can be changed by pressing the
[P+]
or
[P-]
keys.
Activate internal temperature sensing
There is a temperature sensor fitted to the hob and it is possible to send the
sensors
’ output to the main display. This can be activated by pressing
[+B]
[-B], [P+]
and
[P-]
simultaneously for at least three seconds.
When the internal temperature display is activated it is not possible to set a burner timing so
the
[PT]
key will be unusable.
To deactivate the internal temperature sensing, the same keys are used again.
Procedure for testing the display
It is possible to constantly switch on and off the displays by simultaneously
pressing the
[P+], [KL]
and
[ON/OFF]
keys for one second but within 5
seconds of turning power on to the appliance. This is useful for engineers to
check all pf the displays are working and to align the serigraphics of the glass
with the display. It is not possible to start this procedure after 5 seconds from powering up
the appliances.
If the procedure has been started, the keyboard of the appliance will be disabled and it will
then be necessary to exit the procedure by disconnecting the appliances from the electrical
supply.
Procedure for simultaneously lighting all burners
This is done by pressing
[P+], [P-], [KL]
and
[ON/OFF]
for about one second
after connecting the electrical supply. This is useful to check that all the
burners are working correctly.
Procedure for resetting all default settings
It is possible to re-set all of the factory settings including minimum and
intermediate gas levels and gas type in one action. Press the
+
key on
burner B
and the
+
key on
burner
D
continuously for about one second but
within five seconds of connecting the appliance ot the electrical supply.
The start of this procedure is signalled by the characters
“ “
appearing on the display and
the re-set can be confirmed by pressing the key
[PT].
The procedure can be exited by
pressing the
[ON/OFF]
key
