OPTIONAL: Using MoyerCam with a normal screen
There are occasions when you might want to project the MoyerCam's image onto a normal projector screen
rather than the underside of the piano lid. This might be tempting especially in a concert hall with a built-in
projection system. While we do not wish to discourage you, we have tried connecting to a house projection
system numerous times, but never with success. It seems that by the time the image of a pianist's gesture is
sent through a house system and finally makes its way out of the house's projector, the pianist is already
playing the next note -- it is irritating to watch a live concert with this amount of delay (also called "latency").
The components of the MoyerCam were chosen because they communicate with very little latency. Moreover,
the simplicity of the setup minimizes latency. If you would like to project the hands onto a normal screen, may
we suggest that you place the ViewSonic projector behind the piano and connect it to the Camera Stand

with the included HDMI extension cable

. You can snake the cable under the piano. The piano itself can hide
the Projector. (You'll probably want to use the Keystone buttons to get rid of distortion.)
