Replacing the reactor
Turn the Production rotary switch to Stop.
Production stops.
The buttons and on the PLC are active.
Use the
button to scroll down until the
Litres entry appears.
Check whether the production quantity of
Anolyte has reached approx. 100,000 L.
If so, replace the reactor.
If not, use the present value to make a
projection of the approximate time when
replacement will be required, and add this to
your maintenance schedule.
Switch the system off; see Chapter 10.4
„Switching off the system“ on page 54.
Open the door of the process cabinet using the
key.
Push the reactor (2) back slightly to release the
couplings (3) on the plate (1).
Carefully pull the reactor (2) forward and
parallelly to the plate (1).
The reactor must always be filled with liquid, if
not, add distilled water.
Use stoppers to close off the connections on the
old reactor.
Label the old reactor with the name of the
installation site, date of removal, and production
quantity.
Carefully set the new reactor on the couplings
(2).
Push the new reactor backward, keeping it
parallel to the plate (1), until it engages in the
couplings.
