9 Maintenance
Before removing the cover to handle inside, unplug the equipment from the socket.
The handle of the electronic circuit boards by unauthorized personnel
may cause damages. Make sure to give the equipment to an authorised
technical assistance.
9.1 CLEANING
• Regularly clean the centrifuge chamber and, if necessary, clean with
soap or a mild detergent and a damp cloth. This serves to hygiene and at
the same time prevents corrosion by accumulations of dirt.
• Use commercially-available disinfectants such as, for example, Sagrotan,
Buraton, or Terralin (available at chemist’s shops or drugstores).
• The centrifuge and the accessories consist of various materials. A possi-
ble incompatibility must be considered.
• Before using cleaning or decontamination agents that were not recom-
mended by us, contact the manufacturer to ensure that such a procedure
will not damage the centrifuge.
• For autoclaving, consider the continuous heat resistance of the individual
materials (see “Autoclaving” below).
Do not use this emergency opening device
when the machine is operating.
WORKING FOR A NOT DEFINED TIME
When the display (2) shows «00», by pressing the key (6) the display
shows: «--». If the centrifuge starts whit this set time it only will
stop manually.
- Stat pressing the key (7). The centrifuge will stop once

time set.
During the operation, the display (1) shows the speed read by the
tachometer.
The operation can be stopped by pressing the key (10).
INSTANT START/STOP
- Do the previous operation as explained on the section «Starting
up». Once the speed and time of the operation are set and they
are different of 0, by pressing the key (7) the rotor starts to turn at
the speed set. By stop pressing, the centrifuge will stop.
EMERGENCY OPENING

the door, do as follows:
- Remove the plastic stopper on the right lateral of the equipment.
- Pull carefully from this sttoper and the lid will open.
ERRORS LIST:
Error 1: Eprom failure
