LOG BOOK
The installer must comply with all of the installation instructions contained within
this installation manual. On completion of the initial installation and after each sub-
sequent annual service the Benchmark Log Book must be completed and signed by
the competent person who has worked the unit.
The purpose of Benchmark is to ensure that customers have the correct equipment
for their requirements installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation
instructions. The equipment must be installed by installers who have completed an
accredited competent person’s scheme and who install, commission and service the
equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
All installations must comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and the
Benchmark Log Book should be provided to the customer. The Benchmark Log
Book can also be used to show that all equipment is installed in accordance with
the relevant Building Regulations.
