or the heater falling in the water), or in places
where it could be subject to shocks.
The supporting surface must be stable, wide,
not cracked as the appliance could tip over,
and position it at a safe distance from the ed-
ges, so that it cannot fall.
Make sure that the fan heater is working cor-
rectly: if not, turn the heater off and have it
checked by professionally qualified personnel.
Make sure that the air-intake grid is not ob-
structed by objects, fabrics or anything else to
avoid the heater overheating or breaking.
Do not pull the cord to move the appliance.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer or by its technical
assistance center or in any case by a person
with similar qualifications, in order to prevent
any risk.
Do not let the cord hang down in a place whe-
re it could be caught by a child.
Use of any electrical appliance involves com-
plying with certain fundamental rules, in par-
ticular:
- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp
hands.
- Do not use the appliance in bare feet.
