Read carefully and keep
• Do not insert cleanser or chemical sub-
stances in the tank.
Water in nature contains magnesium, mi-
neral salts and other deposits which in
hard water areas can contribute to lime-
scale build up in the tank. To avoid this
problem, it is necessary to wash the tank
after 3 or 4 uses with tap water and em-
ptying it.
In case of very hard water, clean the tank,
we recommend to use a solution with 75%
water + 25% vinegar.
• Do not add water in the tank when it is
still hot, let it cool for a few minutes be-
fore filling.
• To fill or add water disconnect the ap-
pliance from the mains.
• Do not empty the tank when the water
inside is still hot.
• Do not immerge the appliance in water
or any other liquid
• Do not touch the appliance with wet
hands or feet if the appliance is connected
to the mains.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended
when it is connected to the mains.
• Do not allow children or persons which
are not familiar with the instructions for
use to handle the appliance.
• When the appliance is not being used di-
sconnect from the mains.
• To refill the tank, use lukewarm water
instead of cold water and pour it slowly,
keep your face away (as the walls of the
tank are still hot and could spray very hot
drops of water and steam).
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to
wind or rain.
• Do not lay the hot appliance on surfaces
sensitive to heat
• Do not leave the iron unattended when
connected to the mains.
• Iron only on heat resistant surfaces or on
surfaces that allow the steam to escape
(e.g. mesh ironing boards)
• Make sure that the safety cap is fully and
correctly screwed on.
• The appliance is equipped with a safety
thermostat, which in case of replacement
this should be done only by an authorized
service centre or however by a specialized
technician.
• Having to replace the feeding cable,
contact a service centre, as special tools
are needed.
• In case of breakdown or malfunction
contact an authorized service centre.
• No responsibility can be charged to the
company for any damage or accident cau-
sed by any use of the appliance which is
not in conformity with the instructions
contained in this leaflet.
IMPORTANT
The appliance has been rigorously tested
in the factory, for this reason, it may con-
tain residual water in the tank or steam
tube.
PREPARATION FOR USE
• Unscrew the safety cap (E) and with the
tunnel fill the tank with about 1.2 litres of
water being careful that it does not over-
flow.
• Tighten the cap fully clockwise.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Steam ironing
• Set the iron temperature on the position
“COTTON-LINEN”, by turning the knob (A).
(All types of fabrics can be ironed at this
temperature).
