Installing the NAE/NIE Technical Bulletin

The NAE and NIE have one Ethernet port, two RS-232 ports,
two USB ports, and (optionally) a 6-pin modem port for an internal
modem (Figure 1). The NAE additionally has two N2 ports. The NIE
is enabled for N1 communication using the Ethernet port. Refer to
Table 2 and Table 3 for the code numbers of the NAE products,
including those with an internal modem.

Note:

 

The NAE internal modem cannot be added in the field.
