• To activate or deactivate the rinse aid

dispenser (only with the Multi tab function
activated).

• To activate or deactivate the acoustic

signals.

Switch on the appliance. The
appliance is in setting mode when:

• The display shows two horizontal status

bars.

Switch on the appliance. The
appliance is not in setting mode when:

• The display shows the time of the washing

programme or of the delay start.
– Cancel the programme or the delay

start to go back to the setting mode.
Refer to 'Select and start a washing
programme'.

Acoustic signals

The acoustic signals indicate:
• The electronic setting of the water

softener.

• The end of the washing programme.
• The intervention of an alarm code related

to a malfunction.

Factory setting: acoustic signals activated.
It is possible to deactivate the audible
signals, using the function buttons on the
control panel.

Deactivating the acoustic signals

1. Switch on the appliance. Make sure that

the appliance is in setting mode.

2. Press and hold function button (

B

) and

function button (

C

) simultaneously until

the indicators of function buttons (

A

),

(

B

) and (

C

) start to flash.

3. Release function button (

B

) and function

button (

C

).

4. Press function button (

C

), the indicators

of function buttons (

A

) and (

B

) go off

while the indicator of function button
(

C

) continues to flash. The display

shows the current setting of the acoustic
signals.

 Acoustic signals deactivated

 Acoustic signals activated

5. Press function button (

C

) again to

change the setting. The display shows
the new setting.

6. Switch off the appliance to confirm the

operation.

To activate the acoustic signals again, do
steps (

) through (

6

).
