Blocking the stop valve
Note
: Before connecting the flexible exhaust pipe to the motor, make sure
that the stop valve (on the air outlet of the motor) can swing freely.
Connecting the exhaust pipe (filtering/recirculation)
7. Install the air deflector (F).
8. Connect a pipe to the vent on top of the cooker hood.
9. Connect the other end of the pipe to the air deflector.
10. Connect the cooker hood to the mains.
Note
: This cooker hood is not supplied with air deflector. The air deflector
can be obtained from www.johnlewis.com.
Connecting the exhaust pipe (exhaust extraction)
7. Install the pipe support bracket (G) on top of the cooker hood.
8. Connect a pipe to the vent on top of the cooker hood.
9. Connect the other end of the pipe to the air exhaust hole.
10. Mount the chimney (H) by inserting it through the front of the cooker
hood and turning it down until it is fixed in position.
11. Connect the cooker hood to the mains.
