CONVERSION FROM NG TO LPG
Important
The replacement/conversion and adjustments of the gas hob should only be undertaken
by a competent person.
Your model was designed to work with NG. Please check the note on the appliance. But it
can be converted from one gas category to another, make sure the injectors (provided) are
fitted and the gas rate is adjusted to suit.
Method
Ensure that the gas taps are in the “OFF” position
Isolate the hob from the electrical supply
Remove all pan supports, burner caps, rings, crowns and control knobs
With the aid of a 7mm box spanner the burner injectors can then be unscrewed and
replaced by the appropriate injectors (not supplied).
To adjust the gas rate
Remove all the pan supports
、
caps
、
flame spreaders and knobs.
Unscrew the screws of the panel and then remove the panel.
Install cap
、
flame spreader
、
knob of the burner. Switch the burner on and set the
knob at the minimum position.
Place a small bladed screwdriver on the screw to adjust the minimum flow (as shown in
the image on the left).
Unscrew the adjusting screw, in order to increase the gas flow or tighten the adjusting
screw to decrease the gas flow.
The correct adjustment is obtained when the flame has a length of about 3 – 4 mm.
For butane/propane gas, the adjusting screw must be tightly screwed in.
Make sure that the flame does not go out by quickly turning from maximum flow to
minimum flow. If it does then remove the control knob and make further adjustments to
the gas flow, testing it again once the adjustment has been made.
Repeat this process for each one of the gas taps.
Install the panel and refit the caps, flame spreaders and knobs after finished the
adjustment.
WARNING: WE INFORM THAT ANY GAS ADJUSTMENT MUST BE EFFECTED BY A
QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
