ENVIRONMENT
Should your appliance need replacement after extended use, do not discard it with
the household rubbish but dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.
Waste produced by electrical machine items should not be handled like normal
household rubbish. Please recycle where recycle facilities exist.
Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR HOT-AIR GUNS
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Beware: this hot-air gun works at temperatures between 600 °C without any visible sign of this
temperature.
Beware of the hot-air flow: it can cause burns.
Avoid touching the mouthpiece while the machine is in operation: because of the heat
the mouthpiece can cause burns.
Fire can start if the machine is not used with care.
Do not use the machine too long in one place.
Be careful in areas with flammable materials in the vicinity. Remember that heat can be carried over
to flammable materials which are not in sight.
Never use the machine in explosive areas.
Never use the machine under damp conditions.
Do not use the machine as a hairdryer.
Never aim the hot-air flow at yourself or others to dry clothing or footwear.
Never aim the hot-air stream at electrical wiring or power outlets because of risk of electric shock.
Never block the air supply: otherwise the machine will burn out.
Do not leave the machine unattended while switched on.
Place the machine on a stand after use and have the machine cool down before storing it.
Do not leave or store the machine outside.
Hot-air guns must not be used by children or untrained persons.
