ON / OFF SWITCH 

 

To turn the detail sander ON, press the left 
side of the ON/OFF switch (1) (Fig. 4). To 
turn the sander OFF, press the right side 
of the ON/Off switch (2). 
 
      

WARNING:

 Always wear safety 

goggles or safety glasses with side shields 
when operating your detail sander. Failure 
to do so could result in foreign objects 
being thrown into your eyes resulting in 
possible serious eye damage. 
 
Always wear an appropriate dust mask 
and hearing protection when using your 
detail sander.

WARNING:

 

Have you read “GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS”, “POWER 

TOOL SAFETY”, “SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES”, EXTENSION CORD SAFETY” and 
“SYMBOLS” on pages 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 of this Manual? If not, please do it now 
before you operate this detail sander. Your safety depends on it! 
 
Every time you use the detail sander you should verify the following: 
1.  Detail sander cord is not damaged. 
2.  Safety glasses and dust mask are being worn. 
3.  Sandpaper is the correct type for the job. 
4.  Sandpaper is in good condition and properly installed. 
 
Failure to adhere to these safety rules can greatly increase the chances of 
injury.
