Stand Alone Use

Charge the hand control unit by plugging in a
Micro-USB charger to the USB port on the side of
the hand controller unit. (Most cell phone chargers
are Micro-USB). The charging indicator will light
when the battery is charging. When the battery is
charged the light will turn off. The unit will charge
from “dead” to fully charged in approximately 90
minutes.

Press and release the power button to turn the unit
on. The red buttons will flash once, twice or three
times to indicate the remaining battery power
level. Three flashes represent maximum charge. If
the battery is depleted, the button lights will flash
rapidly four times and the unit will power off. You
must re-charge the battery.

Press and hold the power button for five seconds
and the unit will power off. The unit will auto-
power-off two hours after the last button press.

Slide the speed select switch to the left or right.
Left for slow speed and right for medium speed.

Press and release either of the focus control
buttons to move the focus motor one direction or
the other. The motor will turn at the speed
selected by the slide switch.

Press and hold either of the focus buttons. After
five seconds the motor will switch into high speed.
This allows for making large focus changes.
