TWEETER PLACEMENT CONSIDERATIONS
Acomponentsystemgivesyoutheability
toplacethewooferandtweeterseparatelyin
yourvehicleinterior.Thiscanbegoodorbad,
dependingonhowit’sdone.
Asageneralrule,thetweetersshouldbe
placedrelativelyclosetothewoofersforbest
tonalbalanceandmostcoherentimaging(the
closer,thebetter).Anyseparationgreaterthan
8inches(20cm)islikelytoresultindegraded
soundquality.
Avoidplacingtweeterswheretheywill
beblockedbyobjectsintheinteriorofthe
car(includingseatedoccupants).When
selectingamountinglocation,lookat
bothsidesofthecartomakesurethat
thislocationisclearonbothsides.
Youcanalwaysexperimentwithtweeter
placementbeforecommittingtoafinal
mountinglocation.Simplyconnecttherestof
thesystemandallowplentyofwirelengthfor
thetweeters.Usingvelcroorsimilarmaterial,
attachthetweetersindifferentlocationsuntil
youfindtheonewheretheyperformbest.
