warnings and instructions before using
your aerous VX series Headset.
obviously, it’d be great if we could just have the
one warning—“show a little common sense here,
people”—but there are some litigious folks out
there who apparently can’t drink a glass of water
without setting their house on fire. to that end:
•
the aerous is pretty much the end all, be all of aviation headsets,
but remember:
using any headset at high volume can
permanently damage your hearing
.
ringing in your ears or
any other discomfort can indicate that headset volume is set too
high. the same goes for bleeding from the ears, but that usually
only happens with so-called “light rock” albums.
•
aLwaYs turn the volume down on your headset before
inserting the earpieces into your ears
.
once the headset is
in place, gradually increase the volume to a moderate level.
