BASIC OPERATION
1. POWER
Press any button to turn on the unit, press
longer than 2 seconds to turn the unit off.
2. SD CARD SOCKET
Insert a SD/ MMC Card and music starts to
play automatically. Push SD/ MMC Card
again to stop playing and eject the card.
(* Some card may not be ejected by press-
ing the card, in this case, please remove
the card by finger)
3. VOLUME KNOB (PUSH SEL)
- Volume Control
Adjust the volume by turning the knob
clockwise or counterclockwise.
- Select Audio Level
Push [Volume] (PUSH SEL) knob and audio
level select menu is displayed in the follow-
ing sequence:
Volume -> Bass -> Treble ->
Balance -> Fader
Turn the volume knob to select each level
intended.
- Select Function Menu
Press the [Volume] (PUSH SEL) knob more
then 2 sec to enter the Function Menu. Push
Volume knob and menu item is changed as
following sequence
TA Seek -> PI Sound -> Retune L/S ->
Mask DPI -> Beep -> DSP -> Loud ->
Stereo-> Volume ADJ -> TA Seek
Turn the [Volume] knob to adjust level
- FUNCTION MENU ITEMS:
TA SEEK/ ALARM
When TA is OFF, traffic program identifica-
tion code is not received during specified
time.
TA Alarm : NO TA/TP is dispatched and
alarm is set off.
TA Seek: Auto search traffic announcement
program
PI SOUND/ MUTE
PI Mute : During AF searching, no sound.
PI Sound : During AF searching, sound will
be heard.
RETUNE L/S
The initial time of automatic TA search
mode is selected.(S=60S, L=90S)
MASK DPI /ALL
Masked only the AF which has different PI
and NO RDS signal with high field strength.
BEEP
Select BEEP 2 ND , BEEP all/off
BEEP 2 nd : Press longer than 2 seconds
BEEP ALL: Every key on time
OFF: BEEP OFF
DSP
Select intended sound effect, sequence is
OFF / FLAT / POP / CLASSIC / ROCK
LOUD
Select Loudness On / Off
VOL LAST/ ADJ
Set Starting Volume level when the unit is
turned on. (VOL ADJ – Set the unit to Vol
Level 21 all the time, VOL LAST – last
position volume level)
