You have just acquired a microscope of range ME and we thank you for that. This quality
instrument is designed to comply fully with the requirements of your teaching.
Kindly read this instruction manual before operating or using your microscope in order to
keep it in good operating conditions.
1.Technical Specifications
1.1. Particular Specifications
In LED and stand-alone version corresponding to this instruction manual, the microscope
of range ME is available in 2 models:
- With monocular head rotating over 360° and eyepiece holder tube inclined at 45°, ref.
571 415,
- With monocular head rotating over 360° and eyepiece holder tube inclined at 30° and
vertical video tube, ref. 571 416.
1.2. Common Specifications
- Stable and robust metal stand. The ergonomic of control in the lower position allowing
the user to rest his forearms on the table.
- Eyepiece: wide field 10x, can be replaced by wide field 15x eyepiece (reference 574
170).
- Turret able to accommodate 4 lenses

- LED lighting built-in to the base with switch and intensity adjustment knob, protected by
a partially open removable black patch fitted with a converging lens.
- Power supplied by separated transformer 4.6 V / 500 mA or 3 rechargeable batteries
NiMh of type AA HR6 1.2 V / 1800 mAh.
