CAUTION:
Be careful of the rules you put in. Users need to have basic
knowledge about how to set up NFS exports parameters. The system will not do
validation check for you. It’s up to user’s discretion to provide the correct rules.
Shares
The menu
Configuration -> Sharing -> Shares

Sharing -> Shares
tab of the operation area
provides to remove the share or view the status of the shares.
This table shows the column descriptions.
Column Name
Description
CIFS/NFS/AFP/FTP/WebDAV
name
Share name for CIFS/NFS/AFP/FTP.
CIFS/NFS/AFP/FTP/WebDAV The status of CIFS/NFS/AFP:
Green light: the data service is enabled.
Red light: the data service is disabled.
The drop-down option by clicking mouse right button is available on the share:
Remove share:
Remove the share.

The menu
Configuration -> Services -> Data services

provides to enable, disable and configure the data services. Currently, it supports CIFS, NFS, AFP,
FTP, WebDAV, and iSCSI data services. All data services are enabled by default.

(Common Internet File System) tab is used to setup CIFS protocol. The CIFS is a network
