Fig 5

Never cut pieces that are too small.

Support long workpieces with helping
roller stands.

Large, circular or irregular shaped
material may require additional
means of clamping. Use C-clamps
and blocks to hold material securely.

Allow movement of the waste portion
of the workpiece.

Do not hold it, clamp it or use a length
stop against it.
It could become wedged against the
disc causing a hazard.

Never place your hand near the
cutting area while machine is in
operation.

Do not perform any operation
freehand.

Do not cut more than one workpiece
at a time.

Remove cut and jammed workpieces
only when motor is turned off and the
machine is at a complete standstill.

Do not touch the cut material until
it cools or you will be burned!

Operation:
Always observe the safety
instructions and adhere to the
current regulations.

Ensure that the blade guard is in the
correct position before you start
sawing.

The metal saw is switched on by
means of the trigger switch (B, Fig 1)
that is situated on the inside of the
control handle.

Allow the saw blade to reach full
speed before cutting.

Push the cutting head slowly and
evenly downwards.

The cutting head must be returned
carefully to its starting position after
cutting.

To stop the saw release the trigger.

Allow the saw blade to come to a
complete standstill before using the
saw again or making adjustments.

Attention

The condition of the saw blade should
be checked before each machining
process.
Work only with flawless saw blades.

Do not allow anyone to stand behind
the saw or close to the workpiece
where debris can be thrown.

Flying sparks may occur when
cutting. They can cause injury and
ignite flammable materials.

7.  Setup and adjustments

7.1 Changing the saw blade

The saw blade may only
be changed when the
mains plug is pulled!

The saw blade has to meet the
technical specification and has to be
suitable for metal dry cuts.

Check saw blade for flaws (cracks,
bending) before installation. Do not
use faulty saw blades.

Heavy duty work gloves should be
worn for the saw blade handling.

The saw blade may only be changed
when the mains plug is pulled!

Loosen the 3 screws (D, fig 6) and
remove the saw guard (H).

Fig 6

Press arbor lock (I, Fig 1) and turn
the saw blade by hand until the arbor
lock engages.

Fig 7

Loosen the socket head screw (I, Fig
7) against the clockwise direction by
using the delivered wrench.

Remove the washer (J), clamping
flange (K) and the saw blade (L)

Before installing the new saw blade,
the clamping flanges need to be
cleaned.

The saw blade teeth must point in
cutting direction (down)

To install the new saw blade reverse
the process.
Do not over tighten the socked head
screw.

Loosen arbor lock, remove the
wrench.

Make sure all guards are in place and
the saw blade rotates freely.

Adjust the cutting depth stop (see
chapter 7,2)

Return the wrench to storage.

Plug in the machine.

Run the saw and check the condition.

Note:
Always stand on one side when
turning on the saw.

7.2 Adjusting cutting depth stop

The depth stop (P, Fig 8) must be
adjusted correctly.

Fig 8

ATTENTION

If adjusted too deep, the machine will
cut into the chip box.

8. Maintenance and inspection

Make all machine
adjustments or
maintenance with the
machine unplugged from
the power source.

Repair and maintenance work on the
electrical system may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.
