Moving Target Test
When you enter the
Moving Target Test
, the LCD monitor will display the screen shown in figure
B20. The upper squares on the screen represent the states of the two U-shaped opto switches on
the Moving Target Assembly (in the center of the playfield). One opto switch indicates that the
target is all the way to the player's left (home); the other indicates the target is all the way to the
player's right (away). The lower square represents the state of the Enter button. A green square
indicates an activated opto switch (or a button being pressed); a transparent square indicates an
inactive opto switch (or no button being pressed).
You can use the Enter button to activate the moving target motor. Running the motor will change
the position of the moving target and allow you to test the functionality of the opto switches.
To exit the Moving Target Test at any time, press the Back/Escape button.
