REPLACING THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY
1. Turn over the remote control, and remove the battery door.
2. Install 1 “CR2032” lithium battery according to the polarity diagram
on the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery door.
CLOCK SETTING
NOTE:
i.
The clock is flashing and has to be set the first time you plug the unit in. You will need to reset the
clock if the unit is disconnected from the main power or if there is a power outage or interruption.
ii.
The Clock is set to default in 12 Hour format mode.
TO SET THE CURRENT TIME
1. In STANDBY Mode, press and hold the MEM/CLK-ADJ Button on remote control until 12H
appears and flashes on the LCD.
2. Press the or
Button to switch the clock between 12H (12 Hour) and 24H (24 Hour)
format. When 12H or 24H appears and flashes on the LCD, press the MEM/CLK-ADJ to
confirm. The Hour digit will flash to prompt for input.
3. Press the or
Button to adjust the hour.
Note:
Make sure the hour is set so that
AM
or
PM
is displayed correctly.
4. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ Button to confirm the selection and
the minute digit flashes to prompt for input.
5. Press the or
to adjust the minute.
6. Press MEMCLK-ADJ Button again to complete the setting.
LISTENING TO RADIO
RADIO TUNING
1. Press the POWER
Button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the FUNCTION button to select “TUNER” (Radio) mode. The AM or FM band radio
frequency will appear on the display.
3. Press the
/
BAND button to switch between AM and FM band.
4. To manually tune the radio station, press the TUNE + or TUNE
−
button repeatedly.
5. To automatically scan to the next radio station with the strongest signal, press and hold the
TUNE + or TUNE
−
button for 1-2 seconds until frequency readout on the display begins to scan
and then release the button. The tuner will stop scanning when it receives the next strongest
station signal.
6. Adjust the volume control to the desired volume level.
FM STEREO / MONO RECEPTION
1.
This unit provides FM STEREO and FM MONO settings. In stereo mode, the unit will
automatically switch to stereo when a FM stereo broadcast is received and will indicate “
”
in the LCD.
