2. Attenuation of the center speaker in the dashboard

Dismantle original cover (see fi g. A)

Lever out loudspeaker (see Fig. B)

Disconnect the purple-white marked cable, insert the cable switch (Fig. C) and reconnect the loudspeaker (see Fig. D).

3. woofer mounting in the side panel
3.1 Optional recommendation: Insulation of the side paneling
3.2 Preparation of side panel and mounting woofer incl. mounting ring
• Line the side cladding with Alubutyl, then glue insulating fl eece over the entire surface.
• Install woofer crossover with collar screw 3.6x16 in the side panel to
the outer wall of the vehicle.
make sure that this does not cause any vibrations or short circuit (by
screw).
• Then connect the original woofer cable to the crossover and con-
nect the crossover output to the woofer.
• Position and mount the woofer incl. mounting ring on the factory
speaker cutout on the side panel using the supplied screws.
• Place the cover grille on the speaker ring.
