Disposal Considerations
The battery disposal requirements are defined as
follows:
1. Do not allow positive (+) and negative (-) battery
terminals to touch each other.
2. Use caution so that batteries stored or transported
together do not short circuit.
3. Follow federal, state and local regulations for
battery disposal.
Banknote Fitness Requirements
The following Banknote types may not validate
correctly, or worse, can cause a Banknote jam and/
or damage to the Unit’s Transport Path. Banknotes
exhibiting the following conditions illustrated in
Figure 1-3 should be avoided:

Torn
•
Worn
•
Taped
•
Excessive folds or wrinkles
•
Dirty
•
Wet and/or Oiled
•
Adhering foreign objects
•
Excessive miscuts, misaligns and/or misprints
Primary Features
This UBA Pro Series Banknote Acceptor Unit con-
tains the following primary features:
•
The UBA Pro Unit is backwards compatible with
all previous UBA and iPRO Series Unit just by
replacing its Acceptor Head Unit. Upgrade of
current UBA or iPRO Series Unit to the new UBA
Pro Unit can be accomplished by just replacing the
Acceptor Head Unit.
•
Processing speed is greater than the previous UBA
Series Units.
•
By using high precision Sensors and the Automatic
Centering Mechanism, for 62-85mm wide
Banknotes, the UBA-5x0 Series Unit ensures high
Banknote acceptance.
•
The JCM patented Anti-Pullback Mechanism
provides powerful protection against Banknote
stringing operations.
WARNING: Risk of explosion if battery
is replaced by an incorrect type.
Caution: Be careful to avoid personal
injury to your fingers when closing the
Upper Guide Section.
