Maintenance and Care - Storage
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from sources of ignition and varying changes in
temperature.
Store on a flat and level surface.
DO NOT stack other items on top of the machine when in storage
Store the machine in a safe place, out of the reach of children or anyone who is not familiar with
operation
Be sure that the storage area is free of dust and corrosive vapours. Repack the heater in the original
shipping material. Keep the users manual in an easily accessible place.
Draining Fuel Tank
When storing the machine Long Term, draining the tank is required. Old out of date Kerosene and
Diesel can damage your heater. Before draining tank, ensure a suitable container is located below the
Drain Hole. Ensure correct PPE is worn when draining fuel (protective hand gloves and eye goggles)

To drain the fuel tank, simply remove the Drain Plug bolt and washer

Allow the fuel to flow out.

Once all the fuel has been removed, Re-

install the Washer and Drain Plug.

Maintenance Safety Notice
When performing any form of machine maintenance, YOU MUST ensure the On/Off Swtich is in the off
position, Thermostat Knob is set to "0" and machine is unplugged from ANY power source. ALWAYS
wear the correct PPE and follow processing in this manual to undertake ANY MAINTENANCE.
