Introduction
DANGER A maintenance strut or other method
of supporting the dumper body in the must be
installed and locked in position before working
under a tipped or raised dumper body. Do not
reach or work under a tipped or raised dumper
body unless a prop is installed.
Make the machine safe before you start a
maintenance procedure.
If you tip or raise the dumper body to get access for
maintenance, you must install the maintenance strut
on the dumper body.

Installation of the Maintenance Strut
(Dumper Body Raised)
1. Fully raise the dumper body.
2. Remove the maintenance strut from its stowage
position and place over the piston rod of the ram.
Refer to Figure 3.
3. Install the pin to the support and secure with the
R clip.
