INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• For a correct functioning the appliance must be on a flat surface.
• With the help of a bottle, a jug or directly from the tap pour water into the tank (7). Do not go over the water
tank (MAX) indication. In the case of very hard waters you may use distilled water.
• When the water in the tank (7) is exhausted, the iron shall emit a sound and the indicator lamp (e) shall
begin to blink.
• Plug the appliance into the mains.
• Press ON push button and await until the pilot light (c) stops blinking. It will beep, at this moment the
appliance is ready to be used.
STEAM IRONING
• Press the button (5) to choose the ironing option:
-
ECO steam outlet.
-
Normal steam outlet.
• It will light up on the control panel (2).
• Press with the index finger the steam button (1) for the steam begin to flow. It is advisable to use the button
in short intervals.
• Press the button steam outlet (1), twice quickly in one second for a shot of steam. This lasts 2 seconds.
ATTENTION:
• When pressing the steam pusher the pump starts to pass water intermittently to the steam chamber.
This intermittent noise of the pump is absolutely normal.
• You can fill the tank at any moment bearing in mind that you must unplug the appliance from the mains
while doing it. If you have the precaution for keep the tank always with water, the appliance can work in
a continuous way, without need of waits, this appliance becomes irreplaceable for any type of ironing,
including thick garments or great dimensions.
• You can also iron curtains and other garments vertically without needing to take them down. Bring near the
iron in vertical position to the garment and press the steam outlet button (1).
AUTO CLEANING SYSTEM
• Pour water into the tank.
• Plug the iron to the mains.
• Place the iron in a horizontal position on a plate or suitable container in the sink. The steam and drops of
water will begin to flow from the orifices in the base of the iron draining the dirt and particles.
• Press the power button (3) and once the light (c) stops flashing, press the self-cleaning button (4) for three
seconds.
• The self-cleaning indicator (d) will flash and make three beeps.
• This operation takes approximately 2 minutes. It will emit three sounds again, indicating that the process
has finished.
AUTO SHUT OFF
• The iron is protected by a safety system that produces its automatic disconnection after a time.
(Approximately 10 minutes).
• When this happens, the indicator light (a) will turn on, emit six beeps and turn off in standby mode.
• In order for the iron to be reconnected, it is enough to press the steam button (1). When this operation is
carried out, the pilot light (c) of the control panel will light.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning the appliance, ensure it is unplugged from the mains.
• Do not empty the water thank may kept in the tank, unless you are not going to use the appliance for a long
time.
