2.1 CE MARKING
The Schampi Cushion
is CE marked according to Medical Device Regulation MDR (EU) 2017/745
class 1 . The CE marking means that Järven Health Care has the manufacturer’s responsibility to
ensure that this product meets the essential requirements of relevant European legislation .
This includes the provision of technical documentation and assurance which is maintained for
at least ten years after the product is placed on the market .

4. PRODUCT INFORMATION
In places such as homes for the elderly, it is quite a common occurrence that a person wants to
sit on the edge of the bed, but is unable to . The Schampi cushion has been designed to solve
this issue . The Schampi cushion is placed behind the back of the person, once they have been
helped into a sitting position . It is prevented from sliding backward by raising and securing the
side rail of the bed . It provides safe and comfortable support thanks to the contoured back . The
cushion is supplied with a cover made of polyurethane (PU) . The cover is soft, comfortable and
easy to clean .
