Sewing
1. This sewing machine is designed and manufactured for private household use only, and not for
commercial or trade use.
2. The machine should never be left unattended when plugged in.
3. Use the machine on a flat and stable table.
4. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
5. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
6. Use only attachments recommended by the manufacturer as contained in this instruction manual.
7. Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine needles.
8. Do not use bent needles.
9. Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. It may deflect the needle causing it to break.
Maintenance
1. Never operate the machine if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
2. Return this sewing machine to the nearest authorised service/repair centre for examination, repair,
electrical or mechanical adjustment.
3. Switch this sewing machine off when making any adjustment, such as threading the needles, changing
the needles, or presser foot and the like.
4. Always unplug this sewing machine from the electrical outlet when lubricating, or when making any other
adjustments mentioned in this instruction manual.
Never undertake your own repairs
Do not dismantle or modify the machine yourself. Never try to open or repair the device yourself other than
the maintenance described in this manual (page 29-30).
