Baste appliqué pieces on the fabric, or fuse the
appliqué pieces with an iron-on fabric joiner.
Stitch around the appliqué, making sure the
needle at the right swing falls along the outer
edge of the appliqué.
Turning the corner:
Stop the machine and lower the needle into the
fabric at the outer edge of the appliqué.
Raise the presser foot and pivot the fabric into
the new direction.
NOTE:
Return the foot pressure dial to “ ” (3)
after finishing.
