CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the Hook Area

Clean the hook area at least once a month.

Turn the power switch off and unplug the machine.

Remove the needle plate (refer to page 16).

Remove the needle and presser foot.

  NOTE:

  Do not dismantle the machine in any way other than as 

  explained in this section.

  Take out the bobbin and bobbin holder.

Clean the bobbin holder with a lint brush.

    Clean the feed dog and auto thread cutter device with  

the lint brush.

Insert the bobbin holder so that the knob fits next to 
the stopper in the hook race.
