5. Looper Height
The height of the tip of the looper should be 73.1 to
73.5 mm.

Remove the free arm cover (see page 4) and the
needle plate.

Replace the right needle with the short test pin
(28.3 mm long)

Turn the handwheel toward you to bring the looper

to its rightmost position.

Pull the looper release knob

and turn the looper to
the left.
Loosen the setscrew

and move the looper up or
down to match its point

with the tip

of the test
pin.

Tighten the setscrew

firmly.

Replace the test pin with a regular needle.
Attach the free arm cover and needle plate.
