<<Fabric Preparation>>

Put the right side of the fabric together and sew to the end of
the zipper opening. Use the reverse to lock the stitches.

Baste the zipper opening with stitch length at “4” and top thread
tension at “3”.

left hand side

To sew on the left side of the
zipper, attach the zipper foot
with the pin on the right hand
side.

To sew on the right side of
the zipper, attach the zipper
foot with the pin on the left
hand side.

Set the stitch length at 2 and
the top thread tension at
“AUTO”. Fold back the left
seam allowance as shown.

Turn under the right seam
allowance to form a 0.2 to
0.3 cm (1/8˝) fold.

Place the zipper teeth next
to the 0.2 to 0.3 cm (1/8˝)
fold with the bottom end of
the zipper matching the
bottom end of the zipper
opening. Pin in the place.
