Cleaning Hook Race and Feed Dog
WARNING: Raise the presser foot and needle, and
then unplug the machine.
DO NOT dismantle the machine other
than as explained in this section.
Remove the needle and presser foot.
Remove the two setscrews and unhook the hook to
remove the needle plate.

Take out the bobbin and bobbin holder.
Bobbin holder
Clean the bobbin holder with the lint brush and soft
dry cloth
Brush out dust and lint from the feed dog and clean
the hook race with the lint brush.
Feed dog
Wipe inside of the hook race with a dry cloth.

NOTE: You may use vacuum cleaner.
Replacing Bobbin Holder and Needle Plate
Insert the bobbin holder.
Fit the knob next to the stopper in the hook race.

Insert the bobbin and attach the needle plate
aligning the holes with the guide pins.
NOTE: After cleaning the machine, make sure to
attach the needle and presser foot.
