REPLACING THE NEEDLE PLATE MOTOR

TO REMOVE:

1. Remove the base cover (see page 3).

2. Remove the front cover (see page 5).

3. Disconnect the connector from the board "A".

4. Remove the two setscrews (A) and remove the needle plate motor.

TO INSTALL:

5. To install the needle plate motor, follow the above procedure in reverse.

NOTE

Check if the sub needle plate is closed when pattern #1 is selected, and the sub needle plate is open

when pattern #4 is selected.
