3-THREAD STITCH WIDE

Select 2 and set up the machine.

Three threads lock together on the fabric edge forming

a balanced stitch. The overlock stitch is suitable for

medium to heavyweight fabrics.

Common Uses

•

Garment construction on knitwear.

•

Edge finish on single layer of fabric.

Thread in the following sequence:

1 Red (F) thread path for upper looper (page 67)

2 Green (G) thread path for lower looper (page 68)

3 Blue (D2) thread path for R1 needle (page 65)

OVERLOCK 3

Select 2 and set up the machine.

The same characteristics as the 3-Thread Wide. This

narrower version is suitable for light to medium weight

fabrics.

Common Uses

•

•

Edge finish on single layer of fabric.
