Initial operation
Check the measured values
Press the Esc key repeatedly until the display re-
turns to the measured value display. Select the
measured value displays by using the arrow keys.
When you just return from the setup menus, the dis-
play will show one of the measured value screens,
probably not the one you wanted to see. To get to a
common point of departure, keep pressing key (2)
or (5) until one of the voltage displays shows up
(you'll see the title "Voltage").
Use the keys (3) and (4) to select one of the voltage
displays (line-to-neutral, line-to-line, unbalance and
symmetrical components).
Voltage
Set the voltage display to line-to-neutral or line-to-
line. Check the voltage reading with the expected
values for your installation. If one or more voltages
are missing, check
the wiring. If the
values do not
match, check the
VT settings.
Three phase sequence
Go to the symmetrical components display to check
the sequence of the three phase system. You should
read the approximate nominal voltage at "Pos. Se-
quence" if your installation uses the positive se-
quence (right rotating field), the other fields should
approximate zero.
In the other case
(negative se-
quence or left ro-
tating field) the
voltage reading will
be shown at "Neg.
Sequence".
Current
Set the display to rms current reading. Check the
displayed values
with the real val-
ues. If it does not
match, check the
wiring and the CT
setting.
Power
Select the three-phase active power display. Assum-
ing a standard power consuming installation (no
generators or unusual loads) you should see three
power values of
similar magnitude.
If the values are
negative or signifi-
cantly different,
check the wiring.
Overview display
Another way to check the measured values is to use
the overview display.
The measured values of voltage, current, power and
phase angle are shown here. Notice the unusual
numbering scheme, starting with index 0 the inputs
L1 to L3 of the main input, index 3 refers to the aux-
iliary input.
Also shown is the
status of the digital
inputs and outputs
and the line fre-
quency.
