Product Description
This is a universal application amplifier kit for 1998-2013
Harley® Batwing & RoadGlide fairings, with the stock Harley or
aftermarket radio system.
The less expensive universal kit allows the installer to configure
or fabricate the exact mounting location as desired, to meet
their installation goals or space requirements.
This is a full range class D amplifier and is spec’d at 100watts
RMS per channel X2 channels, (200w total) driven continuous
into a 2 ohm load @ 14.4vdc.
This amplifier is fully shielded against RF interference with the
AM & FM radio frequency bands.
Custom made plug-n-play wiring harnesses are included with
this amplifier kit, top quality heavy gauge power/ground wires
are used for the fused battery connection, along with complete
installation/operation instructions.
Amplifier itself measures 6 1/2” X 4 ¾“ X 1 ¾”.
Installation Instructions
1. Determine the best place to mount your new
amplifier so that it is in close proximity to the radio/
music source and is protected from direct contact with
water or mud spray.
2. First connect the main red 12v power wire to the
positive post of the vehicle battery, then connect the
heavy black ground wire to a good metal frame ground.
3. Do NOT EVER bypass the main fuse on the red
battery wire, nor replace this fuse with a fused value
larger than 20 amps.
4. Connect all four speaker output wires to the
speakers, as per Fig. A, paying close attention to the
polarity of each speaker and wire spade terminals.
5. Connect the orange wire to a 12v power source
that is switched on/off when the vehicle ignition is
turned to the ON or ACC position.
6. Test the system for proper operation before
reassembling the vehicle.
