Step 5: Humbucker installation
Now mount the neck humbucker (3) in the designated pickup groove on the neck pocket. Make sure
that the humbucker is correctly aligned (screw side pointing towards the fretboard) and lead the
pickup's connecting cable through the holes provided for this purpose into the electronics
compartment of the body. Once the pickup is aligned in the routing, mark the required screw holes of
the humbucker frame with a pencil or screwdriver at the aligned position. Then all missing screw
holes can be can be pre-drilled with a 2 mm drill bit in order to mount the neck humbucker with the
appropriate mounting screws (19).
The bridge humbucker (4) is mounted in the same way by inserting the bridge humbucker into the
designated pickup groove (screw side facing the bridge). Lead the connecting cable to the electrical
compartment and fix the frame of the bridge humbucker in the same way as the neck humbucker.
