Single Wiring
Bi-wiring
E 800, E 850 and E 870 are equipped
with bi-wiring terminals. Bi-wiring gives
you the possibility to fine tune the
sound with special cables.
In the following the use of bi-wiring is
described. Ask you Jamo dealer for
advice, on how you can take advantage
of the bi-wiring terminals.
The speakers are delivered from Jamo
with the „bridges“ (fig. 4) mounted for
single-wiring. Then connection is as
shown on the previous page.
If you use bi-wiring, always remember
to remove the „bridges“ between the
two sets of terminals.
At the amplifier the cables can be
gathered in one set of output terminals
You can also use two amplifiers. (Bi-
amping)
the speakers are in correct phase:
That is that the + and - cables are
connected identically both on the spea-
ker and the amplifier. To make it easy to
make sure that the phase is correct, one
of the wires usually is marked.
All Jamo loudspeakers are
manufactured in modern, thoroughly
tested materials which usually require
no other maintenance than vacuuming
or wiping using a soft, dry cloth.
If the loudspeakers have become
greasy, clean them using a cloth
moistened with water or possibly a
mild detergent.
Scouring powders, benzine, spirit or
other solvents to clean the
loudspeakers.
