Your gas barbecue should be serviced annually by a competent registered person.
Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
Appliance does not light, no flame,
burner fault - Check whether the gas supply is turned on at the gas cylinder

Make sure that there is enough gas in the cylinder

Is there a kink in the flexible hose? Straighten out the flexible hose.

Check if the spark of the ignitor hits the burner.

Is it possible to light the burner with a long match? Check the ignition
system.
No spark at the ignitor - The distance between the burner and the electrode needs to be 5 – 8
mm. The tip of the electrode should be pointing to the center of a gas
exit hole of the burner.

Clean and readjust the electrode to its correct position.
Uneven burner flame pattern

Clean the burners. Remove all residues of the burner.
- Check if the burners are dry at the inside and outside. Dry the burners
in case of water residues.

Make sure there is enough gas in the cylinder.
Grill does not function properly
- STOP! Turn OFF the gas cylinder and all control valves of the barbecue.
DO NOT SMOKE!
- Check all gas joints. Perform gas leakage test.
- Wait 5 minutes to allow accumulated gas to disperse, then restart the
lighting procedure.

Burners are not fit properly over the outlets. Fit burner exactly in center
of the outlets.

Gas pipe is blocked. Remove the flexible hose from the appliance. Turn
on the gas cylinder just for a second to remove blockage from the
hose. Turn off the gas cylinder and reconnect the hose to the appli-
ance. Perform gas leakage test before using the appliance again.

Outlets blocked. Remove the burners. Check the gas outlets and use a
thin metal wire to remove any residues that might cause a blockage.
Install the burners again and try to relight the appliance. Follow the
lighting instruction.
