3. Calculate the Maximum Frame Rate or Maximum Trigger Rate
Finally, calculate the maximum acquisition frame rate (Continuous Mode) or maximum trigger rate
(Trigger Mode).
Maximum Acquisition Frame Rate (When in Continuous Mode: Frame Start Trigger = Off)
Maximum Acquisition Frame Rate[Hz] = 1000000 / Minimum Frame Period[us]
Maximum Trigger Rate (When in Trigger Mode: Frame Start Trigger = On)
First, calculate the Maximum Overlap Time value for the shortest trigger period.
MaxOverlapTime_TrOlrd[us] = Minimum Frame Period[us] - (Non-ExposurePeriod[H] x H
Period[us])
Select the
Non-ExposurePeriod[H]
value from the table below based on the Sensor Operation, the
setting, and your camera model.

Next, calculate the Maximum Trigger Rate. The formula depends on whether the Exposure Time value
is longer or shorter than the MaxOverlapTime_TrOlrd value.
A. When ExposureTime
≦
MaxOverlapTime_TrOlrd[us]
Maximum Trigger Rate[Hz] = Maximum Acquisition Frame Rate[Hz]
B. When ExposureTime > MaxOverlapTime_TrOlrd[us]
First, calculate the Non-OverlapExposureTime_TrOlrd[us] value.
Non-OverlapExposureTime_TrOlrd[us] = ExposureTime - MaxOverlapTime_TrOlrd[us]
Finally, calculate the Maximum Trigger Rate.
Maximum Trigger Rate[Hz] = 1000000 / (Minimum Frame Period[us] + Non-
OverlapExposureTime_TrOlrd[us])
