Operating Instructions
! Remove any cover from the firepit prior to operation.
!
Inspect the firepit to make sure it is free of debris or objects that may have fallen into the
firepit prior to operation
.
Start your firepit as follows:
1. Place charcoal and/or wood in the center of the firepit.
2. Use just government regulated fuel to spray on the charcoal. Light the charcoal.
3 Add wood to the firepit as desired. Do not overfill the firepit by allowing wood above the sides.
4. Always keep the dome on the Firepit as a protector for any sparks.
Maintaining Your Firepit
! Failure to inspect and maintain may lead to malfunctioning of the firepit and potentially
dangerous situations.
Your JAG Grill Firepit is designed to be cleaned and maintained easily.
Inspect the firepit before each use. Use a broom to clean cold dry ash , and rinse with hose (water) if
needed.
Keep the firepit clean, and remove any debris that collects in or on the firepit.
The firepit will develop surface rust and discoloration over time – this is normal.
Winterizing the Firepit
In areas where the firepit may not be used in winter, or for an extended period of time, you may wish to
cover the firepit.
After a period of storage and/or non-use, check for signs of damage and creosote build-up. Do not operate
until necessary repairs and/or cleanup are executed.
Touching up the Paint
This firepit may be re-painted using approved heat-resistant black paint available from your dealer.
