3.17 CHOKE CONTROL_________________________________________________________
1. Push choke control knob to the Off Position.
2. Set choke lever at carburetor to Off (butterfly open)
position.
3. Adjust control wire (at the carburetor) then clamp
wire housing in place while keeping choke butterfly
open and the control knob in the Off position.
3.18 SPECIFIC TORQUE REQUIREMENTS _________________________________________
1. Ball joints: 30 - 35 ft lb. (40.5 - 47.2 Nm).
2. Bedknife shoe: 25 - 37 ft lb. (34 - 50 Nm).
3. Brake drum and hub to wheel motor: 90 - 100 ft. lb.
(122 - 135 Nm).
4. Wheel mounting hardware: 65 - 85 ft lb. (88 - 115
Nm). Check and torque daily until torque is
maintained.
5. Rear steering pulley: 50 - 60 ft lb. (67.5 - 81 Nm).
6. Engine drain plug: 22 ft lb. (29.7 Nm).
